It isn't the best idea to skip meals. Plus you will be starving by the time you do eat. You will probably over eat when you have food in front of you. You will not be getting the calorie intake throughout the day your body needs. This will make you run out of energy and your body will store fat because it thinks its starving. You may see quick (fake) fast results. Unfortunately you will have lost 5 pounds of water weight.
I have been paying attention to Hollywood advice on weight loss and it seems to be working for me. Nicole Ritchie and Lindsay Lohan dropped a large amount of fat loss. They both started out very curvy and now are very petite.
Their advise was not to starve yourself. Don't stop eating all the foods you love, but to eat smaller amounts. This way you don't feel deprived. So instead of cutting a meal out. Eat 3 meals and 2 small snacks.
It is your over all calorie count that makes you lose weight. So your thought of skipping a meal was somewhat right. except that in between meals your body will feel starved resulting in storing fat and screwing up your metabolism.
Good luck with your diet.
Try lunges and squats. These exercise burn calories at a rapid rate.

You could potentially lose weight this way but it will still depend on what you are eating. You are better off eating several small things throughout the day to keep your metabolism going. Also try to lower carb intake and focus on low cal veggies and protein (like chicken an fish) even if the diet you suggested worked, anytime after nov. 4th when you decided to eat more, your body would hold onto every ounce because it wil assume you plan to starve yourself again. This will most likely to cause you to gain the weight back

NOPE. Your body will slow down and conserve calories. Chances are you will also cheat and have something extra, only adding to the problem.
Instead, drink as much water as you can. What you think are hunger pains are actually your body saying it needs water.
Take vitamans and drink at least 1 gallon of water a day. do this for three days straight, then eat about 6 "meals" a day, no more than 200 calories a meal.

There are many ways to do this. First off stay under 1200 calories, Stop drinking soda, Start doing some cardio (but light ammounts since your intake is much less than you are use to) this will all help you lose weight. Watch every single calorie. If you are really hungry and cant stay under 1200, Drink LOTS OF WATER... Or try drinking LOW FAT LOW CALORIE hot coco. It works great to keep you from starving. Good luck

Actually, I did something like it, and it works well. However, I also exercised along with that. So make sure you get at least some exercise in, even if it's just a 10 minute walk. The problem I always have is that when I notice that i've lost weight, I relapse and start eating the normal way again. Make sure to watch out for that. Good luck!

You will lose weight, if you don't end up starving and binge eating. I would suggest a hard core work out regime and completly cut our all sugars, and try to keep the good carbs at a low. Drink lots of water and just deal with it!

There's only ONE way to lose weight... and that's in a healthy manner. If you don't care about your health... why waste your time caring about your fat??
I hope you don't end up with kidney failure, which is common for people that try to lose weight too fast by starving themselves.
