I am just amused that the birthday of Christ is celebrated no where near the time of year that he was actually born. According to the Bible, Joseph and Mary were on the road headed for Joseph's birthplace to be counted in the Roman census, which was done in the summertime. And the sheppards had the flocks in the fields the night that Jesus was born, again a spring/summer indicator. Of course, to make it easier to convert the Pagans of the time it would have been easier to have the birthday of the "Son of God" close to the date of the "Birth of the Sun God" at Yule, which is December 21st.

"A true Christian would be one who follows Christ's Way, does what He did, loves what He loved and hates what he hates..."
I missed the part where Jesus hates. My new testament most have been missing a few pages.
It's nut-jobs like yourself that make people hateful, my friend. Hate leads to violence, violence leads to war, and war ruins Christmas, which you hate. Makes some kind of sense to you, doesn't it?

You are wrong. Although Christmas has been very commercialized in the last few decades, it is indeed a holy day. It was meant to celebrate the birth of Christ. Therefore: Christ Mass. I'm sorry so many people have forgotten that.

You sound like a Jehovah's Witness.
We KNOW you don't believe in Jesus Christ, but HE LIVES!!!
He lives in my heart and I can have a Christmas Day ANY time I want, JUST BECAUSE He lives in my heart!

Christ hates people who love Him celebrating His birthday. Hmmmm, now that's odd. The Bible says He is a man like us in all things but sin.

Christmas was originaly a mass for Christs birth ( life) like easter is for his death. but it has been taken over by sociaty as a time to be merry and get drunk. I agree it has lost its original meaning. but Christians can still celebrate Christs birth with out all the glitter others add.

It was still being celebrated in 375 even though the church had done away with it (or tried to) so they adopted it and called it Jesus' birthday.
If you can't get rid of a pagan holiday, adopt it
