My boyfriend and I will be in Bangkok from Nov 2 to Nov5. I have been to Bangkok for a couple times but this time I would like to have a tour guide to take us to temples and maybe some local areas because I would like to know more about the culture, traditions..etc. I have found some services on Internet but it is kind of expensive. Please help.

Book one of the local city/day tours, available at most hotels. They come with an English speaking guide, best way to cover much within a day, lunch included. Many options available - some concentrating only on 'temples' while others are more generic, covering all the major tourist attractions. Enjoy ;-)

I go to BKK frequently and know of a very nice young man who is very knowledgeable and loves to show off his country and knows it well. He'll be with you as much or as little as you want. He's a great guy and I have had him help others. He speaks good english and I'm sure will be happy to help for probably $10-20 US dollars a day. Interested?? His name is Kong.

Try the following website, at 1000 THB a day for 8 hours, it is quiet a bargain. This was the most reasonable and very flexible. You will have to cover their taxi fare and admissions fares depending on where you go.
