I am making a spreadsheet with 8 pages. On the first page, the first row is a key to tell you what everything means. My question is how can I make that first row appear on each page as the first row? Hopefully you can understand what I am talking about!

Thanks

Not enough information to help you. Please add some more info. I'm assuming you mean multiple worksheets? And the list of items is going vertical on the first sheet? And you want these same items to be listed horizontally on the top row of each subsequent worksheet? I am understanding it correctly?

Click on File
Click on Page Setup
Click on the 'Sheet' tab
there is an entry in there for 'Rows to repeat at Top'

This should work

The answer given by ANDY is right and this solve ur problem.
It will appear on all the pages u have (e.g. not only upto 8 but also on pages 9 onwards)

Try this:

Highlight & "copy" the cells you want to appear on other pages.

Go to the next page and click where you want the cells to appear.

On the top menu bar: Edit / Paste Special / Paste Link

If you do it this way: whenever you make a change on the first page, that same change will appear on all subsequent pages where you pasted the link.

Hope this helps.

You type everything you need as the first page then you go to the top left and press the "save as" and name it whatever. Then everytime you open that file you'll have all that info everytime. Same way. Know what I mean?

If you want to freeze row 1, first put your cursor in cell A2.
If you want to freeze column A, first put your cursor in cell B1.

Then click Window, then click Freeze Panes.

You specify that in the print specs. It will appear on each printed page.

Under View, select Header & Footer
