I do notnoif he is too short. when he trys to get on her he rotates around her body.it seems like he cant reach her?can you help?

What breed of poodle are we talking about? Are you trying to breed a toy or miniature male to a standard female? If they are compatible, you might have a vet intervine and help them mate. This is sometimes done with horses and other animals as well...he may have to use a step up behind her too. If you want them to breed, then help them out. You can hold her still for him to mount her from a little higher platform. Be sure of their pedigree's and hopefully do all the testing possible of both poodles before you allow them to breed...poodles have a lot of hereditary problems that can be avoided with good breeders! Your vet can assist you with reading their pedigrees and doing all their testing BEFORE you get stuck with a bunch of sickly dogs.

I have the same problems with my 2 french bulldogs.....this is her third heat and it's still not successful......what i can tell u is....let it be....someday they will succeed....don't get too worried about it.....if he's gonna make it or not .....just let it be......
