Can anyone suggest some exercises that help to lose weigth and to build muscle?

you jump at one spot until you get sweaty...
then use a pair of brick or similar blocks,
then raise your legs up an do push-up for 50/day
your chest and arm will be stronger, bigger, muscular.

I've been doing in home workouts to DVDs for years. My new favorite is Get Ripped by Jari Love (she's on the web). The DVDs are cheap--only about $15 and all you need are some dumb bells and a step that are also very inexpensive to buy at your local sporting goods store. This is a great workout that strengthens and tones AND gets your heart rate up too. It kills 2 birds with one stone! If you do this workout 2 or 3 times a week and run or walk on the days in between you will not believe the results and you will feel great in a very short time. And you don't need a lot of space. Of course you should watch what you eat too but don't under eat. You'll need the energy! I know I sound like a freaking info-mercial but this has worked for me. I've never felt better! GOOD LUCK!

Why does everyone obsess about fake crying? It's hardly ever needed and it's really not that important! Loads of brilliant actors can't produce tears to order - on stage the audience doesn't notice and on TV and movies the makeup department sort it for you. Forget it! But what would be really useful is reading loads of good books and plays of all genres, and practising learning loads of lines - start with a few lines and work up to a major character from a full play. Another useful thing, apart from acting classes, of course, are singing and dance lessons. Also getting really good grades at school so you can get into a good drama school and get a solid training. Good luck!

It is a misconception to think that you need equipment in order to get a good work out or to build muscle. One of the strongest and most ripped guys I ever knew used to do nothing but isometrics with a towel. There are plenty of exercises to do that incorporate nothing but your own bodyweight. Check out the book "The Naked Warrior" by Pavel. It is all bodyweight exercises. Or go to undergroundstrengthcoach.com for more ideas.

Get a good exercise video. Alternatively, press ups, sit ups, star jumps, bur-pees, squat thrusts, cycling out laying down, shadow boxing, step ups on your stairs, walking up and down stairs a bunch of times, yoga, aerobics, dancing or even acrobatic sex!

Don't forget home weights, pick some 2nd hand ones up on eBay or a car boot sale for really really cheap and get a magazine or book from the library to see what to do with them. Set yourself days, times and realistic targets and make sure you stick to em! Be as strict with yourself as you would want a paid fitness instructor to be.
Good luck

I do workouts at home all the time. I use "walk away the pounds" dvd's, or just march in place, combined with side steps, squats, lunges, and then do push-ups and crunches. I lost 30 lbs doing it on my own with only some 2 and 3 lb hand weights!

Work with weights. You can buy small weights and you can buy strap on weights that increase exercise while just walking around the house. They wrap around your ankles or your wrists. You should start with 2 pounds weights and work up. It is amazing how many calories you burn while affixing weight to your body and the muscle tone starts increasing very quickly. Try a sports store.

you don't need loads of money for equipment, if you have 2 carrier bags and 4 tins of food you can make ankle/wrist weights and sit on edge of chair to raise legs. or you could stretch your chest and help develope muscle there by putting a mop or brush behind your neck and raising it this also good for arms

Sit on a chair with waste paper bin in between ankles and slowly raise and lower it the slower the better

Hope this helps

Push-ups. ( chest / tricep )

Pull-ups ( Lats / Bicep )( you can buy a bar to go in the doorway)

Leg-Lifts, Sit-ups. ( abs & core )

Put the pull-up bar at about 3 feet of height, placing your chest directly below it as you lay on the floor, & "pull" yourself up to it, for a good rowing action for your back. Alternately, you could find some way to do 'dead-lifts'.

Squats holding some object for balance & weight, for your legs.

Standing Calf raise, using an object for weight & balance. for your calves.

Good luck, Kalisthenics ( spelling? ) will only get you so far. Eventually youll want to move to weights. Let me know if you want some advice on a good starter routine using free-weights.

Oh, & someone mentioned dips. Dips are Great! for your triceps.

sure I can...

Pushups - develop shoulders, chest and obviously triceps
Situps/crunches - develop a nice tight stomach, and back

those are pretty essential, also you could run up and down the stairs, or venture outdoors and do some running, that'll help burn the fat you have and expose the muscle you're developing.

I think that's pretty much all you need to know to begin with.
