I am a creepy guy who really isn't interested in being "just" friends. Additionally, I lack the intellectual capacity to spell cheeks. At least she won't see this one.

That you care about her,..as of now as a friend but be careful. If you want nothing to happen than stop. If not and she does not mind then continue. Who knows she could be the one. Do what feels right.

Touching the face of a person is fairly intimate. It could easily be confused for something more. Be careful you're not misinterpreted.

it just depends on the girl, we all interprete things differently. you may be sending the signal that you want her to be more than just your friend. if you don't feelthis way about her you might want to be careful how you act around her. if you play with fire, you get burned!
