It's not right that you keep tagging him along especially as long as you have been. Your wasting his time as well as your own. It's not fair to him that you give him the impression that things are great and your really into him when your not. You need to just break away as soon as you can once and for all. You do need to do it in a very nice way because he deserves that from you. It will hurt him, and I know you will feel terrible for it, but your only hurting this situation more by staying. We as people hate to do this type of thing, but it's called life and life is hard sometimes. He sounds like a very sweet and caring guy, it's too bad he wasn't your match. We all have a perfect match for us, he just wasn't yours.

Leave. I was with a guy for 7 years and he didn't want to commit. I left him after I found out he had $60K in collections. This was in 2004. Now, I'm happily married. If you aren't in it, it isn't fair to him or yourself. Just be honest. It takes time to heal but you will find the right one for you!

be honest with him even if his feelings might get hurt. I am sure he is a nice guy and he does sweet things for you but if the feelings are not there, the only that is going to happen, is you being misable in this relationship. so be honest

If you don't have much feeling for him then it is ok.

Tell him everything clearly. Or else he will heart more after.

But if there is space in your heart for him then except him becaues love someone who loves you.

Your life will be so colorful then. That would be a great life ever after.

don't keep dragging him along and wasting his time... Tell him the truth so he can move on to someone that does appreciate him. I 'm sure you would expect that from him??
