If Bowe would come to the ring not intimadated and Physically Conditioned.
He has the tolls to outbox and even knock out Mike tyson.
Lets make a Trilogy
BOWE/TYSON 1 Bowe by Split Decision
BOWE/TYSON 2 BOWE TKO 9
BOWE/TYSON 3 BOWE UD 12( actually Not Necessary)
See Tyson has a Punchers chance but a well conditined BOWE will Shut Down Iron Mike.

Tyson - W 50 (KO's 43) TF 58 - W pct 86% - KO pct 74% - wins over Berbick, C. Williams, Ruddock, M. Spinks, T. Biggs, P. Thomas, Holmes, J. Smith and Bruno - KO'ed by Holyfield{2}, Lewis and Douglas (average fighter) - #16 ranked puncher - #72 ranked fighter
Tyson did not have Frazier's will or heart
Bowe - W 42 (KO's 33) TF 44 - W pct 95% - KO pct 75% - wins over Holyfield[2], Dokes, P. Thomas and Biggs - KO'ed by none
Won 1988 Olympic Silver medal at Super Hwy wt
In his 2 fights with Golota that he won by DQ, he was behind on points.
This fight depends on what Bowe will appear, the won that fought Golota or the one that fought Holyfield 3 times. Bowe will be looking for his boxing legacy in this fight. From the very beginning I thought that Tyson was overrated, long before Buster Douglas I felt that any big Hwy wt that could box and hit and wasn't afraid of Tyson could beat him. Bowe in a 10 rd KO over Tyson just like Douglas did.

Bowe, for all his training flaws, was a superior boxer to Tyson. Realistically, Bowe stood up to Holyfield where Tyson failed. I say Riddick Bowe takes Tyson.

Bowe was a well schooled and technical fighter. All the punches he threw were textbook as far as technique is concerned. In terms of hand speed he was lacking. I do think Bowe would give Tyson a good fight because Bowe's chin is sound. We all know what type of fighter Tyson was when he was at his best. The result of the fight would hinge on what type of physical condition Bowe was in. If Bowe comes in to the fight in shape he makes the fight interesting enough to lose a decision. If Bowe comes in with that extra weight and out of condition he gets knocked out by round 9.

In their primes there is no comparison, Bowe would have bowed out by round 8 if he came to fight. If he came to frustrate then it would be unanimous points win for Tyson, as it was against Tony Tucker, who was probably the fighter most like bowe in size and style that Tyson fought

If Bowe is in shape I believe that he controls the fight from the outside with his jab and has good enough of a punch to rattle Tyson who would always be looking to get inside. Tyson as I have said before always looked great against fighters that were overmatched or intimidated by him but when he faced skilled fighters like Douglas, Holyfield, and Lewis he was beaten soundly. I believe that Bowe beats him by unanimous decision.

Riddick Bowe would be too much for Tyson the Bowe who fought Holyfield on their first fight would knock out tyson before 8 rnds.

tyson all the way! i agree that the length of this fight depends entirely on which riddick bowe showed up, that night. when he was in shape and focused he was a legitimate, promising fighter, as he was against holyfield. but holyfield didn't have tyson's combination of speed, power, defense and accuracy. bowe had big chinks in his armor that holy couldn't exploit more than once. as long as bowe stuck to 'the plan" laid out by eddie 'pappa smurf' futch, he would fare well...for a time. yet, as mike so eloquently put it, "...every man's got a plan...until he gets hit." all it would take is one of mike's haymakers and bowe would be on queer street. once he got you hurt, no one "closed the deal" like mike! kayo inside of five!
...bowe just didn't consistently have the mental toughness to deal w/tyson, the only exception being his wars w/holyfield, in which he kinda unraveled during that unusual 2nd fight w/the parachute guy landing and all!

Obviously Tyson. Bowe may be big but he had no technique.
And I absolutely disagree with John H's answer above. Ali would have taken Tyson to the cleaners. Not only him, but Frazier, Foreman and Ken Norton as well.
As we saw with Bonecrusher Smith and Buster Douglas, let alone Holyfield, so long as you've got technique, a bit of brains and a useful punch, Tyson will have no answer.
