I have experienced that I have been taking bigger breaths since stopping smoking, I was only a social smoker and quit a year ago.
I am an anxious person, but not stressed at the minute, so cant put it down too that.
I am 32 years of age and healthy.

Your lungs deteriorate with age and there's nothing you can do about it. Taking bigger breaths is normal.

First, congratulations on quitting smoking. If it has been over a year and you were only a social smoker, most likely you have by now turned the bad effects from smoking backwards. Your lungs have had time to heal themselves. Your shortness of breath could be from allergies or low anxiety disorder. Breathing exercises could help. Yoga is a great stress reducer and emphasizes breathing techniques.

Every smoker I know that has quit has mentioned having some respiratory problems after quitting.

One saw many Dr.'s an specialists. They gave her many diagnoses, but none turned out to be correct and it went away on it's own.

No, you lungs are repairing themselves. Deep breaths are good. If you continued to smoke, you would be out of breathe...
