I have straight shoulder length hair but have just had some extensions put in. I get bored of wearing them straight so want to do something more interesting with them. Any ideas??

If its human hair treat it like human hair, you probably have asian hair extentions if they were reasonably priced, if they were pretty expensive then you probably have russian. The russian hair can take alot more damage, it starts out a lighter color so it can be bleached and died and such. Anyway the best thing to do with that sort of hair, becausae it is heavy, non pourus and straight most of the time is to deal with it seperatly from your real hair (especialy if your real hair is pourus or corse) deal with your own hair as you normal would with the product you would normaly use then use a protecting light hold hair spray on the extentions and a curling iron on a medum hot setting. When your done, shake the curls out, and there you go wavey shiny hair.

You can use heated rollers on the extensions.
But also if you want that wavey/curley look, put some molton browne rollers in your hair (also known as bendies), leave them in over night and just run your fingers through in the morning.I do this quite often

Maybe try loosely braiding your hair after a shower, then when you take it out later it will be wavey. I don't know if it works for hair extensions or not, though...

sure...
braids- 1 or 2, french braids (search how to french braid on Q search), side braid
ponytails- half, side, pigtails
buns- loose and messy
gel- scrunch it
iron- straighten it, curl it, crimp it
accessories- headbands, scarves, cute clips, cute bows, bandanas.
hair part- part it on the side
bangs- clip them up

here are some suggestions to get wavy/curly hair. i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-
curl with iron or rollers
put some hairspray in ur hair before going to bed and the tossing and moving will create random waves
braid ur hair and when u remove it there will be waves
put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves
use sea salt spray or surf spray. sea salt will give really pretty beach waves
scruch it with gel

good luck!

I saw this on the Entertainment channel. (i used to watch it alot when i was pregnant and too heavy to move around). Basically do two big plates in your hair when wet, dry it and when you take them out you'll have the natural wavey look. all the celebs were doing it apparently. me, now i've got my baby i haven't had time to try it out! let me know if it works.

I naturally have curly hair but i seen that most girls that have straight hair get a perm. I suggest you get a perm. Or while the hair is wet put in mousse and hairspray then blowdry till its completely dry.

Try Aussie hair products!Take aussome volume spray gel and cover your hair and then let it air dry. you may look like a wet dog for like 10 minutes but the end result is great! Finish with Sprunch Spray (Do i sound like an advertiser for Aussie or what!)

If it's human hair extensions then you can curl it with an iron. You can wether it's fake or not braid it and it will become wavy after you've took the braids out.

I use curling iron and the waves look very nice. Use a ceramic curling iron and only use it at the ends of your hair. Make sure that you use the curling iron after blow drying your hair compeletly.
