The inside of the glue bottle is layered with a special substance which prevents it from the glue sticking to it.

You want me to be scientific or comic...actually glue needs to dry to stick two surfaces and inside the tube since it is enclosed and prevented from getting dried it has to maintain the state...why don't the gas escape the surface of your Coke bottle when it is sealed!!!

Because it needs air to evaporate the substance that keeps it soft. When out of the tube the evaporation takes place leaving only the glue which then sets.

Because the bottle is usually made out of plastic, which has a lighter molecular compund than glue. That's why.

Because most adhesives are activated when they are exposed to air. That's why if you don't put the lid back on properly it generally sticks and dries out.

because it usually is made with a solvent or water base. When this dries out in the air it set. In its container it is sealed in and the air cannot evaporate the base product

The same reason why when you go into a dollar tree and it states that EVERYTHING IS A DOLLAR, you get to the counter and it turns out to be like $12.00. I thought everything in the store was a dollar. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It does. You can never get it all out. It doesn't stick cos it doesn't get air to it to make it dry.
