The ignorant will be quick to tell you that you should never do an inbreeding. However, knowledgeable breeders do them quite successfully. The key is KNOWLEDGE! You need to thoroughly know both dogs' pedigrees for 3 generations back. You need to know all the faults in them, including recessives- in short, you need a very thorough knowledge of genetics.
If the faults are not present in either parent, they can not possibly be in the puppies. However, you are doubling up on what's there. So if you have a dog with a bad temperament, you know the puppies will have it, etc.
So no, if you don't know the answer to this question, you don't have any of the necessary knowledge to do an inbreeding!

A brother and sister dog can breed, but you need to stop it if at all possible. The pups will be born retarded, or deformed, and if not, chances are they will die before they get 6 months old. its from imbreeding, and causes major health and mental problems.

Yes they will because they don't know any better. Should you allow it to happen, NO!!The pups would end up being misfits, meaning they wouldn't be right in the head or they would have deformities. Please get one or both of them fixed so this doesn't accidentally happen. Definitely a no-no!!!!!

Big health problems can occur in a litter of pups if siblings are the parents. So, yes, they CAN mate but shouldn't.

They can mate, but they shouldn't. If they do, there could be birth defects.

My sister in law's dog mated with its son and the pups turned out fine i suppose it might be the same for Sis and Bro.

yes because they don't know the difference. the reason i know is because my mom had two dogs and they were mother and son. so when your little girl is in season they will do what comes natural to them .
