My oldest (7) is going to be James Bond. My middle son (6) is going to be a vampire. My youngest son (2) is either going to be a Wonder Pet or Spider-Man. For my older two boys, I am making their costumes. I bought patterns and am sewing them myself. I did this last year and the boys loved those costumes and practically begged me to do it again this year.

For your 2 year old, I suggest either making or buying a costume of a character that he likes. Good luck!!

I have a 2yr old that will be going as superman. Its a simple one piece outfilt with no masks and hats which my son hates.Got it large enough to slip on over coat if needed and the best thing is I purchased at walmart for like 12 bucks. I made a popcorn box one year for a young relative.I was asked to make that costume 6 more times in last 10 years.I was going to do it for my son..but my son is fond of throwing himself down on the ground and yelling hes wrecked.Popcorn flying in 10 directions may be entertaining for neighbors but I will pass..lol Have a great time!

I have 2 sons ages 2 and 4. They are going as Superman & The Hulk. I thought of a very cute idea that would probably be pretty easy to put together. How about a mailman? All you would need is dark blue pants and hat. Lighter blue shirt with 'US Mail' written on it. The maybe a little bag to carry some mail. You could even buy little Halloween cards to put in the bag so he could hand them out and really feel like a mailman!

My daughter will be 20 months this Halloween and she is going as a fuzzy bat. I am making the costume using a pattern I found on the internet to make bat wings, it is super cute! You can do a search for toddler costumes and find lots of cute ones.

My 1 year old is going as a Ladybug....this is her first Halloween. I'm actually sewing the costume....so she may end up looking more like a locust or fruit fly. ;)

All I know is that COMFORT IS THE KEY with younger kids. Otherwise ya'll will be miserable. Good luck!

I found the cutest dragon costume at the Children's Place for my almost 3 year old. He goes around telling everyone he's going to be a dragon. It's very cute

Dalmatian: Buy a plain white sweatsuit and black fabric paint for the spots. Sew or hot glue felt floppy ears on the top of the hood. Blacken his nose with eyeliner.

Bob the Builder: Buy a long-sleeved white t-shirt and paint orange and yellow squares with acrylic paint. I drew lines with black puffy paint first and then did the squares. I bought a nail apron from Home Depot and decorated it with tools. Add a construction hat, overalls and brown boots. Buy the shirt larger than needed because it won't stretch after it is painted.

MY 8 yr old daughter is going as a cheerleader and my 8 month old son is going as Disney's Roo...Go online to disney.com...they have great costumes there and they are not that expensive. I got my son's costume for $17 and it's Disney...I got it in 5 days. Don't dress him as spiderman or hulk, he's 2 yrs old...dress him as something cute like a lion, panda bear, etc...cuz in about 2-3 years, he is going to want to pick out his own costume. have fun .
