Sweaty hands can be from a lot of things, if it is a hot day or you are both hot...well, no surprise there, right? It's normal to sweat when you are hot.
Does it bother him?
If your hands sweat all the time, that is a different story. Most of the girls and women I see (I'm a manicurist) who have sweaty hands are nervous types. One plus for that, people who have damp hands tend to have skin that doesn't dry out and age as fast as "dry" people (sadly, their acrylic nails lift more, always wet). If you are a nervous type, try beginning positive thinking and meditation now, it can take years to retrain yourself to be a calmer person, but the payoff is forever (wish I'd learned earlier).
I've seen antiperspirants recommended for sweaty hands, but it never seemed a good idea to me.

That is a sign of anxiety. If it is too much and out of control, I recommend that you see a doctor for it. Lexapro helps. But remember that it is also very common to be nervous in your first dates. All you need to do is to leave his hand for a little bit and then take it again.

I've heard that if you hold an ice cube to your wrist(s) for a minute or so, that helps. Only temporarily though I would assume. Other than that, just try to relax and be cool you know, be yourself
