Jewelery is always nice but I'd say you haven't been dating long enough to get her something too expensive. Try a bracelet or a necklace.
Is there a band she likes? You could get her their CD or maybe you could get her tickets for a concert or show.
My friend's boyfriend got her a kitten for her birthday. She thought it was the best present ever and she loves it but I wouldn't recommend giving her a pet unless she has been hinting towards it.
Speaking of hinting, is there anything she has hinted she may like? Maybe you've been walking through the mall and she saw something and said "wow, I really like that sweater (ect.)" ? Getting it would really show you listen to her and care.
Another fool proof idea would be getting flowers delivered to her in the morning and taking her to dinner that night.
Just make sure to show her you care and don't get too hung up on material gifts! Good luck.

Four months is not a long time. What are her hobbies, like bowling get her a new bowling ball, belongs to a gym - get her a trainings session, a massage for facial at a spa. If she has a collection - like anything that is turtle shaped - find something to add to it. If she likes to draw - get a good set of colored pencils.
Just get her flowers and take her out, she will be happy.

Break up with her 3 days before her birthday, then get back with her 3 days after and you don't have to worry about it

da first and foremost thing u can do is remember it..2nd..get her cute teddy..gurlz dig for cute gifts besides they r cheap and yea..accompany them wid roses and cards
