is it illegal to disclose why somebody is out sick from work to co-workers?

i was out because my doctors were evaluating one of my ovaries to discuss what they whether they are going to remove it due to the cysts growing on it. I came back to work and everybody knew why i was gone i had told that to my manager in privacy and he told everybody else! Is that even legal?

Only if you are their boss or a higher up than they are. Its unprofessional and the company can DEF be sued for it.
