Yes, good question and good idea. Also I wish to have a Turkish Yahoo Answers. I know u didnt say this for a racist way but some stupid girls and guys above understood you as a racist guy.

There are a lot of people here who regularly use Yahoo, Google, Wikipedia etc in Turkish so why not Yahoo answers too?

I haven't been using Answers for very long, but I was surprised that there wasn't already a Turkish language version. Looking at all the nationalities listed below, it would seem an obvious one to add.

It's sad that so many ignorant people are always prepared to say something negative on this site, if there was a Turkish site it would free us from them. It would also give me another opportunity to improve my Turkish!

PS Imdashti - I posted a question in Turkish once and was reported for it. Technically foreign languages are forbidden on this site. That's why there are other language sites indicated below by the various flags, but there isn't one for Turkey which is, I think, what we are discussing.

I prefer to share my thoughts with all, not only with Turkish people. That section is giving us the chance to correct the wrong information they have which I like a lot and that's the only reason I am here. On the other hand there are many Turkish web sites like yahoo where you can exchange your opinions.
You also have the freedom to post in Turkish if you want to communicate only with Turkish people or the ones who speaks Turkish. Do you think it would help???

I understand where your coming from but how many languages are we going to have on here?

Turkish is in the minority by a long way so it'll be just too complicated and too blinkered.

The other problem is it wiil limit your answers because you will instantly lose a huge amount of joe public with all the diffrent points of views that brings with it. One of the best things about Yahoo answers is the diversity of the people on here, all ages, all backgrounds, beliefs, social status, etc.

You could set up a Turkish site in a newsgroup format, i spend a lot of time in Turkey and i've not seen one that's UK based.

In fact, Yahoo! Answers is international. You can write your questions in any language, and people can answer in any language. However, the inteface is mainly English because it is the most widespread language in the world. If you have any other suggestions, I think you should contact Yahoo! people.

Hello dear!
I would think that it is "better" to communicate with all, not isolate! As you know, creating ghettos is not good for those in those!
