Some religions state that any person who acts the way their god asks them to act deserves to go to Heaven. I am wondering about these poor people who've been brainwashed since they were born and commit acts of terrorism because they believe their god asks them to do so. Should they go to Heaven or not?

I always thought that each different religion has a different vision of God, Heaven/Hell etc therefore they might not see Heaven the way you or I may do. They believe they are doing something good for their religion (not my beliefs, just what I've read) therefore they may go to "their" heaven for doing an act for their God.

if the heaven u imagine is full of people you think did good things in life then they would not be there as they killed people, however, if they were truly brainwashed they will be in heaven , the people who brainwashed them will not be........... xx

NO !! There is only 1 GOD and I have never heard of him seeking a killing for a trip to heaven. Brainwashed is one answer but I believe '' the devil made me do it '' fits better. What better fit ? A quick, 1 way ticket to hell because of their ignorance . The word GOD and KILLING seem like total opposites. My GOD is a GOD of peace, not killing. Although most wars seem to be fought over religion, I don't think it was necessarily his will.

God gave each of us free will. He also gave us the ten commandments... not the 10 suggestions. One of them is, "Thou shalt not kill". That should be plain enough for anyone who believes in the true and almighty God. There are people who has heard of God all their lives, and still put their faith in crystals or themselves for true power. It's very sad, but God never said going to heaven was just for good people. You MUST have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or you will spend an eternity in hell. Read the book. It's all there!

Jesus Christ has asked no-one to kill for Him. Indeed, the New Testament says that (unrepentent) murderers will not gain entry to Heaven. The only time Jesus told anyone to carry a weapon was when He was arrested, and that was only to fulfil prophecy. When Simon Peter actually used His sword, Jesus chastised Simon Peter and healed the person that was attacked.

Christians are told to respond to abuse, persecution and violence with forgiveness and love, and not to retaliate or even defend themselves. Our own destiny is secured as long as we are loyal to Christ. We must ensure that other people have the opportunity to have that same destiny. A dead man cannot find Christ, so a Christian does not kill.

No. Violence is not God's way. He allows violence in the world because He allows us to use our agency for good or for bad. We are then held accountable for our actions in this world. Often, the bad people use their agency to hurt others, including good people. God also allows us to be good citizens, even if that means supporting the laws of the land through military service. But to claim that God told me to kill you, is wrong. God does not direct us in that way. People that believe that are being deceived by the adversary and will receive a rude awakening when they die and go for judgment only to realize that they were wrong.

Most theologians argue that indiscriminate killing is evil and would separate the perpetrator from God at the moment of death. We don't know how God will react. Hell exists, but we cannot be certain that any human has ever been sent there. Just remind your suicide bombing friends that they should expect to receive a very warm welcome in the next world. No--The Bible says that murderers will not inherit God's Kingdom,
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (this means they will be totally destroyed or put out of existance)--Revelation 21:8.
No Christian will take another person's life, no matter who demands it. If any government ruler or religious ruler says to kill, then we must obey God as ruler, not men. As Christians we must love our enemies and pray for those who hate and persecute us.

One of the commandments is "Thou shalt not kill"
Yet the bible tells the story of Noah and his family. It tells how God sent the rain and destroyed every living thing on the planet except for the occupants of the ark.
Therefore God is a homicidal maniac who has committed the worst case of genocide in history.
I guess he would welcome anybody who followed his example, assuming you actually believe all that rubbish

I feel sorry for sucide bombers too. Since they aren't in control of there own minds I hope they get forgivin and not have to go to hell for someone elses own greed. Or have to repeat by doing good deeds. If that happened to me I would do what all the ghosts in horror movies do to scare the terrrist leaders.

this query is a sprint deceptive, and that i could decide to show out why. no individual who has ever lived in this earth, different than Jesus, is without sin. as a result, even one sin is sufficient to reason a individual eternal separation from God for all eternity. meaning a individual who murders is sinful, besides as a individual who never murdered, yet possibly they stole something while they have been a baby. Sin is sin, and ONE sin is sufficient to sentence us. If a individual somewhat repents of their sin, which is composed of homicide, sure, they are going to be forgiven. in the event that they settle for Christ as savior, sure, that sin is forgiven, as are all their sins. If a individual thinks they have led a "stable existence and accomplished no longer something incorrect", they're fooling themselves. God's word teaches "all have sinned and fallen wanting the massive distinction of God". the guy who thinks they have never sinned and refuses to settle for Christ as savior is the guy who won't bypass to heaven.
