example: when the water splashes off the wash basin onto ure clothes can it contain urine, germs etc, and how could you possibly find out?

Not really, as long as your not eating your clothes, then whatever splashes on can be washed out. Just make sure when you do wash your hands, you use a paper towel to turn the water off and also to open the door. You would be surprised how many men and women leave the bathroom without washing their hands. Gross!!!

P.S. The only way to find out would be to use a black light.

Just try to wash carefullyl with soap and water and avoid splashing. i think any germs would die as soon as they dry.

Anythings possible. Bathrooms are full of germs.
