I think your boyfriend is being selfish. A tattoo is a permanent thing, and it will be a continued reminder for you. If he did not love her any more, he would not do it. I think he still is in love with her. So what if he is upset with you. You did the right thing. Be strong and tell him how it bothers you. If he can't realize what he is doing, then you should find another person to love.

WHAAAT!?!?!? Thats got to be the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. He got MAD at you becuase you said no??? He must be nuts! He's OBVIOULSY not over her, i wouldnt be suprised if they were still sleeping together. Who would get a PERMANENT tatoo of someones name that meant nothing to them? No one does soemthing that permanent just because they feel bad that the other person did. Wake up, he's a jerk. the fact that he would even consider it, let alone ASK you , let alone GET MAD when you say no tells me that you need to LEAVE HIS A**!

HE is obviously a sick individual that doesn't care about your feelings if he is serious about this. Why on earth would he tatoo someones name on him mid another relationship. Uckk. He want's to have his ex's name tattoed on himself? WHY? Yeah I think you did the right thing. But I also think you need a VERY good explanation from him as to why he wants this. He might still be hung up on her in which case you may want to move on.

Of course you did the right thing. He's not with her anymore, so why should she mark him as her territory? If he wants her name on him so bad, tell him to get back with her.
