Mice in your refrigerator......Well they do carry disease and if they are near your food source it could be dangerous. As far as the symptoms...they could be from anything. Call your Dr. to make an apt. Also as far as your landlord. If you live in the US. If you cannot get a hold of your landlord to fix this problem. You are within your rights to pay for an exterminator to come out and then just subtract it from the rent. Save the receipt and send it with your usual monthly payment with a note attached stating why you did what you did. Have it notarized. A notary can usually be found at the post office or your local bank. it usually only costs a few dollars to get that that done. Then make a copy for yourself and keep it in your records if he ever tries to dispute it. After you have gone to the Dr. and if it does turn out it is due to the mice and your landlords neglect....You can make him pay for the Dr visit as well.
Good luck!
