I would have to say is a good book. It has everything in it. Suspense, humor, death, horror, etc. A Great book. I hope to read it in its entirety one day. There talking animals a battle between good and evil. It’s a Great story, can’t wait to read it.

Religion is such a touchy subject. Why is it that some believe in it? Honestly, if today someone were to proclaim they were walking along and saw a talking burning bush, who would believe them? How do we know its not all made up? There is no one alive today to prove it. The Bible is very political as well. Its only filled with the information that is wanted to be believed. Anything that was written back then that contradicted it was burned or disposed of. Why is it that Greek mythology now, is considered mythology? They believed in gods and goddesses, and now its all said to be fake. Why is "our god" so much better than theirs that it wasn't done the same way? Anyone can start something by word of mouth and thousands of years later it be totally fabricated and no one know any different.

Anthropologists and historians can use the bible as a an historical guide. Seems there is an historical value to the ancient writings. Also, it is fascinating from a philosophical view. Lots of fodder there.

I agree with you almost completly. The only thing is that you left out a word. Non. The Bible- a good book of Non-Fiction.
