What if you liked a guy, you ended up dating him, then getting engaged...but you don't have a specific religion, however you're still Christian, and he's a devout Pentecostal? Could marriage really be a reality when both partners want and have different Christian religions? Also, he wants to be a missonary, are there any careers that would go along well with his job so that I could travel with him?

The Pentecostals form one branch within conservative Christianity. The main feature of Pentecostalism is their belief in Glossolalia, or the ability to "speak in tongues". The ability to speak in tongues supposedly comes upon people who have the Holy Spirit acting within them and giving them this power.
The services are usually highly emotional and spontaneous in that they wait for the Holy Spirit to enter them and speak in tongues through them. I suppose some unkind people would speak of them as Holy Rollers. Otherwise, their beliefs, practices and social policies are similar to those of other conservative Christians.
Now, the first thing you need to determine is: What sort of a Christian are you? If you're an Espiscopal or Methodist, you probably aren't going to go for Pentecostalism with its very emotional ways. Anyway, you need to ask yourself if this is a way of religion compatible with your own personality and beliefs.
I think it would be highly difficult for a marriage between a P and a non-P to work. Even between two Pentecostals it would be difficult because P is highly fragmented with about 200 separate denominations, each believing it's way of reaching the Holy Spirit is the best way.
You also have the missionary desire standing in your way. You don't marry a missionary and then do something else. If you marry a missionary, you become a missionary, too. The only career that "goes along with" being a missionary is being a missionary. You will, of course, also need skills like playing some musical instrument (preferably Organ), being able to teach Sunday School, maybe doing some of the missionary work itself, maybe looking after the children and teaching them yourself (if you are, say, in the Jungles of Ecuador), and learning the culture and everything else about some strange, foreign country. You've got to consider, too, that missionaries are a strange breed of people with often twisted and convoluted needs and beliefs.

- Technically, there shouldn't be different denominations of Christianity
1 CORINTHIANS 1:10
10 ¶ Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
- If you both stick to exactly what the Bible says then you should be fine.

If you don't think Pentecostals are christian then you need to re-examine what you think a christian is... Jim
