IQ means intelligence qoutient or the supposed ration number of your intelligence or it shows how is your intellict or knowlege or know how about any ;matter while religious dopctrine is a knowledge about the existence of GOD if you have faith in him. there is nothing to do about your intelligence to something because even your itelligence ;is high if you do not believe religious doctrine , your intelligence is useless

It is highly unlikely that they are related. IQ is almost a natural function of the person's innate abilities, while religion is a personal choice. It doesn't make sense that the IQ in a population should fluctuate for almost any reason, religion included.

(Besides that many very intelligent people are religious.)

2Ti 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 EVER LEARNING, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

Its true, statistically speaking people with a higher IQ are less likely to be religious. Of course you also get really intelligent theists and really dumb atheists but i think it shows that people with a higher IQ are more likely to question rules and laws that have been set out.

I question the premise of your question. Poles indicate that 90% of Americans believe in a supreme being. Not necessarily Christians or regular church goers for that matter, but still a strong indication that Religion is not fading away with every scientific advance.

Yes, someone can't be very smart (in the logic department), to swallow a storybook like the bible.

Did you know that Jesus gets to have 7 horns in rev. ?
Some crack-pot Christians think they'll get beheaded (in this country), in front of their children, for their faith.
Ha, ha, talk about nuts !
That's more likely to happen to non-believers (no, not really), but you should hear what bush said about Atheists, I was appalled!

In times past Religion held humanity with a tight grasp. As times progress, that grasp has slipped as humans begin to question and explore. Little by little have the ideals of man made religions fallen into oblivion, for the truth is revealed to us all.

The average IQ is defined as 100. It can not go up because that's how it's defined.

I'm not convinced intelligence is increasing or that religious dogma is decreasing, except in certain places.

For some reason I question your credibility...maybe it's the Mister T picture, who knows? Either way, show a link next time so we know it's not something you just made up to make Christians look bad...which you Athiests so love to do.
