London: The Blue Kangaroo, Chelsea
This central London restaurant has become very popular because of its integral downstairs play area. Parents can choose to eat here or in the restaurant which has a big screen with live link to the play area.

Try Belgo in Covent Garden.

It is Belgian-themed with cool surroundings (you go over a bridge then underground to eat) all the waiters are dressed as Monks which the kids will like.

They have offers such as "beat the clock" where you pay the price of your meal according to what time you arrive (example you get there at half five you pay £5.30)

meals are hearty and quality with a good choice. Steak & chips, pastries, mussels, chicken etc.

It's very near Covent Garden tube and there's another one, Bierodrome, near Holborn.

Oh and you often get a free beer/glass of wine with your meal.

The swine flu has got a lot of people freaked out by it but the media tends to big it up so that it sounds worse than it is because its the "top" story, its everywhere so you can't escape it. I'm not paranoid or anything, its just my view. O.C.D is a bugger and can really restrict your life, but you can always try little tiny steps like, just stepping out your front door, then the next day try going a little further.

I agree that TGI Fridays in Leicster Square is a brilliant family restuarant. It's by Leicster Square, and they give the kids balloons and colouring crayons etc.

I don't know the name but I know there is a restaurant in Chelsea/Fulham that is specifically for parents and their children. It's near Chutney Mary. It may be on the New Kings Road.

I would suggest you go to Smithfields above Smithfields market. There are two different levels, one being more expensive than the other and great for a family venue.

Enjoy.....
