It is best to make them the day before or if you can the morning of Halloween. As soon as the hot candy touches the apple it starts to brown the skin of the apple. Not appealing. I usually make them the day before. Sprinkle some white sugar on a cookie sheet (so they do not stick to it) and place them in the fridge. Good luck.

If you look in the grocery store produce section,check the sell by date on them. That will give you a good idea. But in my opinion, they should last about a week as long as you keep them in the fridge. (that is if you don't eat them up first!!) lol in my house they would last about a day or two. yummy :o)

Making them on the 29th is fine. But if you made them January 29, 2006, I would throw them out.

no there good regardless how long they sit im meaning like two days not the whole century but they will last until you eat your first one then your going to keep wanting them until they are all gone

i would think they would last a good while being that you can buy them at most county fairs and state fairs. fairs are in town for at least a week or 2 weeks

I made some and they were good after a week. Make sure you wrapp them in plastic wrap and keep them in the fridge though.
