I use pro-active. after I had my son, i started getting occasional break outs. So I bought the pro-active and the FIRST thing I noticed was the reduction of blackheads on my nose. If you use it consistently and as directed, you can achieve excellent results. It's really NOT that expensive, ESPECIALLY if great looking skin is important to you! Good Luck.

Tips to Remove blackheads
When the pores close with the sebum content on the surface and bulge out, it is a whitehead and if the oil gets rusted due to the opened pores you will notice a black colored swelling which is called as blackhead. For non-inflammatory kind of acne, just a few blackheads or whiteheads will appear on the skin crust. They are simple in nature and do not require a physician’s prescription. If you come across blackheads you can use Retin-A, which is an effective remedy. Majority of the people face this problem.
You can find blackheads on your nose, chin or forehead. Removing a blackhead is a difficult task and its frustrating.Given below are a few tips to remove blackheads:·
Do not use harsh soaps or lotions, which could the face oily.
Use cleansers and try to keep the skin less oily.
Try to keep the dead cells away from the skin, by cleaning your face.
Do not squeeze the blackheads. Too much squeezing could damage the skin and make the pores large.
Applying warm water on the face and gently putting pressure with a little cotton could clear the clogs.
You can use “blackhead strips” which are available in the markets. These strips only remove the upper portion on the blackheads and not its root.

Steam your face over a bowl for a few minutes and then push them out using a blunt object such as the base of a nail file. It might sound a crude system, but it honestly does work. The steaming is vital to the process.

Try this website to purchase a blackhead remover. Creams don't help.

Stop trying to touch your face with dirty hands. Using Aveeno Gentle Exfoliating Brightening scrub works. Then apply the SPF Moisterizer. I've seen my face clear up and will keep using Aveeno.
