Have you tried a search? I typed your search into Google and came up with a few articles...the first one looks like something you could use but they may not be exactly what you need. Your best bet is to get access to a journal database. Many universities have subscriptions to scientific journals that would otherwise cost you to download copies. Do a little searching and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
Here is what I came up with:
http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/85/5/1751
http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/full/91/2/320

E-medicine is also a good resource. Use a search engine to find it. The way to avoid hits that are not reliable sources is to avoid "health" websites that do not have scientific references to their information. Also avoid personal websites from people who think they know about a disease from personal experience.

Good luck.

Search the MEDLINE database at http://www.pubmed.gov
For heart failure patients, use the term: Heart Failure, Congestive
For changes to skeletal muscle, use: Muscle, Skeletal
For impacts on exercise capacity, use Exertion
Limit to Major concepts:
__ "Heart Failure, Congestive"[MAJR] AND "Muscle, Skeletal"[MAJR] AND Exertion __
Select the Tab "REVIEW" to get reviews.

Search PubMed using the key words you listed.
You can just look at review articles.
If one of the titles is interesting then click on it to see the summary (abstract). if the article is free online (more and more are) there is usually a link from the summary page.

I typed in "changes skeletal muscle in heart failure exercise" and got 56 review articles.

the first 3 are:

1: Volaklis KA, Tokmakidis SP.
Resistance exercise training in patients with heart failure.
Sports Med. 2005;35(12):1085-103. Review.

2: Smith SA, Mitchell JH, Garry MG.
The mammalian exercise pressor reflex in health and disease.
Exp Physiol. 2006 Jan;91(1):89-102. Epub 2005 Nov 10. Review.

3: Nicoletti I, Cicoira M, Zanolla L, Franceschini L, Brighetti G, Pilati M, Zardini P.

You can also enter databases like Entrez pubMed / Medline, Kluwer Online, Springer Verlag, John Hopkins, John Wiley.

Also please consult the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), they have research papers on almost every ailment under the Sun! also look in to Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of orthopaedics and Traumatology, International Orthopaedics, European Journal of Orthopaedic Science
