Actually, most guys do they just refuse to admit it.They are just shy and need a little push to move them forward.

Not really.
Guys are much simple than girls. They try to play hard to get, but that means that they're not that serious about you, but you're just one of his play mate.
Any guys will seriously try hard to contact you, if they are that much interested in you.

That would be rather rare for a guy but some are so shy or holding back that it looks a lot like it.

of course, but if the girl made him a joke or made him in trouble , he may get a little bit angry from her but he will always still love her, in that time the girl must apologize for him ;)
