I think that God should answer us back when we are talking to him. It's rude not to.

Your question presupposes that God is a man and therefore subject to Man’s whims. For this reason it is unreasonable to want God to just 'just show Himself.'
Man is the only creature on God’s green earth who can gaze at the Heavens and ask himself, “Where did I come from;” and “Is there a God?” Angels and demons don’t have to wonder. They have walked with God and know He exists. Which brings us back to Man, who is also the only creature arrogant enough to believe that he has no superior.

No it is not unreasonable to want. but if God took on a human form and came to you and said "I am God" would you believe or call him/her a nut case and if God came in a form we don't understand would we try to destroy it because we as humans have a tendency to attack that we don't understand. I wonder how many people want an audience with a leader of a nation, a movie star or anyone famous but understand that they will not get it but still demand that God the make an appearence.

God wants to reveal Himself to everyone, but you have to meet Him halfway. If by faith you believe He exists,He will show Himself to you,but without that faith first,He is forced to keep His distance, because He will not coerce you into believing. He simply asks that you make that first step by faith.By doing that, you are opening yourself up to Him,and if you are sincere and truly believe,He will show Himself to you in ways you could never have imagined. He loves all and wishes for all to know the Truth, but He can't reveal it unless you first believe.

God don't have nothing to prove. You either believe or you don't. He showed he is real by his creation. He showed he was real when he sent his Son, and Jesus did many miracles and many still didnt believe. So if God did show himself many still wouldn't believe they would claim someone set that up.

The definition of faith is believing in something that is unseen. God has no need to show himself.

He doesn't think it unreasonable either, He just wonders why you refuse to see.
Hebrews 12:25 See to it that you obey God, the one who is speaking to you. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, how terrible our danger if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!

It is not unreasonable to disbelief patent nonsense without even a shred of credible evidence, if that's what you mean.

God is evident. Perhaps we are expecting something that we are not quite prepared to see...
