I have been where you are, and, as trite as it sounds, you are the only one who can change the way you feel. No one has control of your feelings but you, and happiness is a choice. You choose each day how you will face it, how you will respond. Circumstances and other people can influence us, but no one can make us feel a certain way. And a job is such a small part of your life and who you are - spend time cultivating your life and connections away from the job. Those are the things that give your life value and happiness.
Take some time to decide what you want to do, then pursue it. It's not going to fall in your lap. If you need more training, enroll in classes or check out schooling you can take advantage of. Volunteer in the area you have interest in - you never know what kind of contacts you may make that might lead to future employment. If you are not sure what you want to do, check out a career counselor - an objective person can help with those decisions based on your strengths, aptitudes and talents. And you can find a lot of this help on a pay as you can basis.
I don't know your religious affiliation, but, as a Christian I depend on God to help me with feelings of frustration and despondency. The more I trust Him, the better life gets. It is not easy, mind you. I have been in more than one job that I detested and wondered if I would ever be happy. But God, Who has a wonderful plan for my life, has always been there & blessed me beyond measure, in ways I never anticipated.
God bless you :-)

Here's how it works.
1. You must make the effort to improve your situation.
2. Many factors are practically outside your control.
3. It doesn't matter how smart, hardworking, or dedicated you are; Companies won't hire you if you don't have experience.
4. You can't get experience because no company will make the investment to train you.
5. The hiring process is very impersonal and over competitive.
6. You won't be given an opportunity to prove your worth.
7. Anything that looks "undesirable" on your resume will immediately disqualify you.
8. You'll be blamed for not being able to find a job in your field. You'll be filtered out, and thrown in the garbage pile.
Good luck, because you're gonna need it.

Unfortunately, the longer you stay with that attitude, the longer you'll be in it. There are lots of things to be happy about! My life may not always be the best, and I may not always get what I want, but I have an attitude that brings good things my way. And I do the following when I am down and don't feel good about the future:
1. Be happy and grateful for the things you do have.
2. Write a list of ten things you want to accomplish. These are goals. Now write down how you can get them...even if they seem impossible. This is the path to reaching your goals. Start doing things to get where you want to go.
3. Write down all of your negative thoughts and feelings right now. Now write down positive thoughts and feelings to replace them. These are called affirmations. When you are feeling down, read these positive thoughts and feelings. This will change how your subconscious mind thinks, and you will start thinking positively about all of your situations...and then you will start making changes to get ahead in life, not staying stuck in the rut.
Nothing is impossible with the right attitude!

Yes, it is 100% true, Living itself is only to have happy life. If it is not here right now, we feel it will certainly come in the near future and on that hope, only life sustains. A wood which was burnt and became charcoal and rejected is living with a hope for thousands of years and it become diamond which people proud to own.

First of all you need to change your negative view of life and start thinking more positive. Take the attitude that if that special job hasn't come my way yet. It is because it is not the right time. When the right time comes all will happen. In the meantime put your cv in to as many sites as possible. Write to companies and don't wait for them to come to you. Feel good about yourself and confident that what ever you want is possible to achieve. In the meantime ask yourself why you haven't found that perfect job.Is there something you need to work on prepare yourself and don't waste anymore time feeling depressed but positive and do something towards getting your goal.

We are in the same place! I am so tired of half-***-ed jobs, low paying jobs, just not being able to find the right one, or just one! I am 39 and you would think that I have my act together, well I don't! I'm stuck in a relationship because I do not have the money to live anywhere else, I have thoughts of just ending it all! I have never experienced true happiness! Never ever! I never visioned my life this way! God Help Us!
