A great birthday present for a 13 year old girl would probably be something that she really likes like concert tickets to her favorite singer or rapper. You should just ask her what she really enjoys or likes but just make sure she doesn't get the hint.

Pick something she loves to do and do it with her. My daughter loves to shop, so I get her some gift cards to a couple stores for her birthday and "give" her a girls day out. She and I enjoy the day without her brothers tagging along. She is allowed to buy whatever she wants with her gift cards and then we enjoy lunch together. It is nice because she gets what she wants AND we get to spend time together.
Other ideas could be movie tickets, clothes (if you know the size and or style they like) CDs, gift cards to their favorite store.....

best gift cant be predicted by age alone. see her hobbies , interests, and try to recollect what all the things she asked in past and make her day, u ca even try books, games, eateries and love , kiss and hug......raj
