I need the cookie and icing recipe for batchlor button cookies?

Any ideas for these wonderful cookies??

Bachelor Buttons
2/3 cup Butter or margarine
1 3/4 cup Sugar
2 x Eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
3 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
Glace (candied) cherries
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs; add vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into creamed mixture.
Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Put half a cherry on top of each "button". Bake 8-10 minutes at 425F.

BACHELOR BUTTON COOKIES
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
2 c. flour
Mix as listed. Roll into balls, press center with finger. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
