I recieved a notice of approval for my K-1 visa petittion for my fiance Sep.21 from CIS,however the NVC has no record of recieving my CIS case number...Is it normal to take this long for them to even recieve the approval from the CIS and have it in their system?

I would get a immigration lawyer to help and make sure you don't lose your notice and they can clear this up for you. it should be fairly simple. Good luck

It does take some time. It get to the NVC and it then wait to get inputted into their system. Wait another 2 weeks or so. This process is frustrating but at the end of the day, knowing you've done this the legal way will have its rewards.
