a prayer request for my best friends father who can go at anytime. He has terminal cancer and everyone is just making him comfortable as they can. Maybe God isn't evil. Maybe he is there to help us through things like this. Thank you.

I realized that my entire life the vessel and her family always used God, heaven and hell whenever they abused me. I would stop contact with them, then go back and get abused again. When I visited my friends father I realized that he and my BF believed in God and it was different then what I was exposed too. My aunt told me at 13 I was going to hell. Everything I did was a sin and was verbally abused using God as a means to abuse me. Seeing it from a totally different perspective made me see, it wasn't God, it was them using him in abusing me. They are two cruel people and I do NOT want to go to heaven if they are there. I know or rather feel my dad is in a good place. He was best friends with my best friends father. They worked together before we were even born. I have to say I am still a mystic but wasn't Jesus? He felt things, saw things and did things. I still have the glow in the dark rosary beeds and the St.Christopher medal my dad had and he never seemed religious. He was private.

In view of some of your past statements it is unbelievable. But your request here is an answer to someones prayers.I know that at times Christians can give you a cold shoulder, but their is still a remnant that has been praying for you.Sometime God uses these things to bring us around and put us back on the right road.I will certainly pray for this request that you have made.In the mean time you might make a commitment by asking forgiveness and excepting Jesus into your heart.I assure you God is not evil. One of the Lords greatest virtues is His Love and Mercy.

Prayer requests are the most wonderful thing. I have my brother's name on several, here on the internet, in my church, and in other churches. My brother is terminal, and it is very comforting to know that people everywhere are sending prayers for him to God. Your friend will be comforted knowing that you have sked for prayers for her father. I appreciate everyone that does this for my brother and my family. God hears every one of our prayers. Just pray that this man will find peace, comfort, and be painfree in his last days or hours, whichever it may be. And you should let him know that all these people are praying for him. Another thing you can do is go to church and light a candle for him. I will pray for this man even though I do not know his name. And by the way, God is Good - not evil. He cares for everyone of His children.

Generic prayers can work, but your best source for now is to ask the church members with whom your friend's father was acquainted. Call that church's minister, explain the details, and he will do what is necessary.

We are all put on this earth to face adversity, trials, and misfortune along with the good. It is a test for us to see if we can make the best choices and return to the Heavenly Father's presence. My thoughts and concerns are for the well-being of your friend's father.

All of us not personally knowing the man can offer up our prayers for the healing of the sick and infirmed of those we love. Not knowing the man's name we can only pray in faith for him and others afflicted with disease and infirmities.

He is there to help you through everything. Yes, I will keep him, his family and you in my prayers. God bless.
Here's a quote from the bible for you. Spoken by Jesus "Pease be with you, peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give. No not be troubled and do not be afraid." (John14:27) My favorite. Have a great day.

God isn't evil. At times one has to wonder what He was thinking when He does what He does. The simple answer is, we aren't meant to know. God does love you, I know that sounds cliche', but it is the truth.
God bless you and yours.

Done.

God brings comfort to those who seek it through His Son. His desire is that no one suffer in death, by knowing they are headed for eternal companionship with Him.
