Yes I believe in God, I talk to him every day. He also gives us friends and means of getting in touch with other people to discuss our problems. He wants us to confide in Him first, but He also wants us to talk to eachother. We learn this in church and we discuss it many times in our faith groups. It is good to talk to other's about things. That is why God gives us the resources. He gives us many tools, first Himself, His Son ,His Word, and friends, like people on this site. That is why He created us, so that we can glorify His Name and talk about life in general with other's. Nothing wrong with asking for or giving other's some friendly advice. You never know, it could just be what someone needs to get through their day. We are supposed to help others, and others are, or should, help us along this journey called life.

First of all, God doesn't like to be tempted,He is almighty. Are you referring to the gentleman who lowered himself into a cage of lions & says "If there is a God - He will save me."? God doesn't work like that, Jesus was the only one perfect enough to have that sort of power. He was mercilessly eaten by the way.
Second, I don't WANT to "try" Him, I want to love & honor Him thru random acts of kindness & love. Through rewardless deeds do I feel closer to God, for the good is only between Him & I. Love..:o]

I've not said that I believe in God in well over a decade, in fact, for that decade, I've been saying that I believe there is no God, or gods, or goddess, or goddesses, or pantheon, etc...

So why would I come to that which I do not believe exists?
