I am dating this guy but other men are always asking me out on dates asking to take me to lunch and buying me gifts and sending me flowers is it ok to recieve them?

You are being a taker/user by accepting these items. Do you want to be thought of as a shallow person who takes what she can no matter what? How about some personal ethics? Just because a guy is dumb enough to shower gifts on a woman doesn't mean she should accept them. You are sending the wrong message by doing so.

As long as you and the guy you are dating did not commit yourselves to being exclusive to one another, then you're free to have lunch with other men... and accepting gifts & flowers.

Would you like other women coming on to your man and giving him stuff?
I know I wouldn't be ok with that. Put yourself in his shoes. He will feel he has to compete with the gifts etc and that should be what your relationship is about.
