Hey Esther: Yes. I am quite silly.
As far as Satan goes, I see. The kind, loving, omniscient 'Father' lets him terrorize us, along with the more direct, obvious influences of kings, Popes, guys like Hitler & Stalin. Why, I see wh 'His' power is considered so mighty and great and how it's obvious that He has more control...Whatever.

Silly Christians! This question was not implying that my soul is worth world peace and everyone else's isn't. (That kind of exclusivity seems to predominate the whole Xian concept, though)
I was thinking along the lines of, when ANYONE'S soul is sold to Satan, they get something in return. My asking for world peace would be the same as asking to win the lottery.
But 'misinterpretation' is nothing new. After all, aren't the Crusades and the Inquisition blamed on misinterpretation? And you Christians say we're 'taking it out of context' (in regards to reading the Bible)

your logic is not quite clear...try to explain yourself a little more.
Why would sell your soul to satin instead of keeping it happy in the presance of God?
And what does peace on earth have to do with your soul? maybe 'your immediate world' may no longer be peaceful, but in the bigger scheme of things, the world is always good because God created it and He is still around to protect those that love Him.
