Probably not. Asthma is one of the major disqualifiers in recruiting. It doesn't matter what job you would want to hold in the military, even if it's an "easy" job like being a combat photographer. They still consider it too demanding for those with asthma.

Probably not. You could try to get a waiver, most things are waiverable. The key concern for the military is that asthma can be triggered by stress and the miltary is stressful. The other consideration is.. what if you have an attack at the wrong time. Like when you are in a gunfight, or some other stressful situation where your peers need your support for their livelihood and you can't breathe. Either you or some of them could die.

no, you actually won't be able to enlist with asthma on your record. It's not really safe and you wouldn't be deployable. regardless of what type of job you're trying to enlist in you would need to go through basic training which requires a lot of physical exertion. Also, if you were deployed you'd be doing a lot of activities, if you have an asthma attack and no inhaler... well it's not gonna be good news.

history of asthma past age 13 is a Permanent Disqualifier.
