Because religious wackos don't think of anything outside their little sphere. Their god was not the first god. Nor will he be the last.

Neither Zeus nor Odin promised heaven or the damnation of hell.
In ancient Greek people believed in Zeus as much as people believe in Jesus now.
Monotheism replaced polytheism because it unifies the believers and doesn’t cause religious depute between different gods. The Roman Emperor Constantine realized the benefits of Monotheism and replaced the polytheist Gods with Christianity to maintain a unified Empire.

Actually there is a fringe group within Christianity that believe Zeus, Odin and other Gods of Greek mythology were the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis chapter six, and God used the flood to destroy them. Those that hold to this view generally believe that the Great Tribulation happened during the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70.
The error in their theology exists in the fact that they hold that the fallen angels mated with the daughters of men and the Nephilim was their offspring. This is not what the bible teaches however. It does say that the sons of God mated with the daughters of men but this has to do with believers and non-believers and not with the angelic beings mating with the women of that time because the angels are non-sexual beings incapable of procreation. It mentions that there were "giants" in the land but this has to do with a race of humans that originated from Adam just as we all did. It could also be a reference to the dinosaurs which derived from reptiles which are known to grow until the point of death and during the prediluvian period lifespans were quite long.
Also the subjective experience of the indwelling of the Spirit of God in the heart of the believer has not been shown to be possible through the belief in any other God aside from the God of Christianity.

People do honor Zeus and Odin.
They are not Christian deities.
The 13th century eddaic account of Odin likely contains elements similar to Christianity. The passage where Odin hangs from a tree as a sacrifice to himself has been suggested to reflect the crucifixion of Jesus, down to the detail of having his side pierced with a spear; however, archeological evidence, such as the above mentioned Tollund Man, clearly establish that this form of sacrifice existed before the time of Christ and thus is most likely developed independently.
Other inconsistencies, such as that Odin was hung by a rope from a tree whereas Jesus was nailed to a cross (both wood, but in different contexts) further supports an independent origin of the myth. It is still likely that early Germanic Christians connected the two myths, moulding their image of Christ after Odin and vice versa, an effect that is also suggested by the Anglo-Saxon Dream of the Rood which portrays Christ as a Germanic warrior-king.
Odin's son Balder, a god of light, shares some of Jesus' traits as a youthful "dying and rising" god, but unlike in the case of latter, his resurrection fails and he has to remain in the underworld. The Havamal account of Odin's sacrifice positions Odin in the otherwise unique Pauline Christian attributes of a "father god" who suffers and defeats death.
The similarity of Odin and Jesus was resurrected by Richard Wagner. Wagner's association of Odin with Jesus is treated in the Notes of the Seminar Given in 1928–1930 of Carl Jung.

the Number one reason is because Jesus of Nazarith is a real historical figure, His Life and miracles not only are recorded in the Bible but in historical recordings of such people as Josephus. His life daeth and ressurection are actually based around historical events. Zeus and odin were characters in a fairy tail.
But most importantly, why did Jesus come and die? let me ask you a question.
Do you consider yourself to be a good person?
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. Have you ever hated someone? The Bible calls this murder of the Heart. If God Judges you by this standard on the day of Judgement, would you be innocent or guilty? THe BIble says if you have broken those commandments, you would be guilty. your conscience also bears wittness, you knew it was wrong to lie, stel, look with lust and hate. God has given you a conscience and written his Law on the heart of every man. On Judgement day, you will be without excuse. The Punishement for your sin is death and Hell. But the good news is that God has done something for you, He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray and Repent (turn from sin) and today put your full faith and trust in Jesusu to save you. if you will do this God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life.
God Bless

The Christians are better at marketing.
"Eternal Life"
Odin and Zeus are kind of lacking as to how the common folk fit in.

Because there's no support structure for Zeus and Odin anymore. People only believe in the popular gods. God with a big G is the popular one right now.
Some atheist once told a believer: "When you understand why you don't believe in all those gods worshipped by other people then you will understand why I don't believe in yours."

mostelectrifyingmanont,
The prophecies and promises that are from Jesus are different from any other "diety." Zeus and Odin did not die on the cross for the sins of the world, neither, to my knowledge, did they even desire to provide salvation to all.
But Jesus not only died for the sins of man, but it was also prophecied that he would, and those sacrifices that the followers of Judaism practiced were types of Christ, and types of actions of Christ. Foretold centuries before.
