Before becoming the Buddha his name was Siddhartha Gotama
Rahula (meaning an obstruction/fence) was the Son of Siddhartha.
Buddha is basically the title given to him after he attained Enlightenment.
After becoming the Buddha (around 35 years of age)he did not have any children.
Since he found that all sense pleasures lead to suffering
he did not lead a life of a regular householder after he became the Buddha.
