I personally have darker skin and in the region where I live most guys are pretty dark, from sports etc.

TANNED!!!! definately.. not pasty and pale.. but i think that goes for girls as well..

Hey I think it depends on the guy don't you. A redhead is just not going to get tanned, most likely he will burn. Then you have the problem of fair skin and freckles. If all the girls around you want tanned skin then I would pick another place to go. It is humiliating at worst and shallow at best. It's hard but be the best you that you can be. Ever see a woman and you think why did that guy pick her...maybe it is some asset you don't know about (snicker)

I prefer my skin when it's tanned, but some people just suit being naturally pale.

Looks can be deceiving. Tan 'looks healthy' but isn't. White looks unhealthy but isn't. If you would rather look healthy than have healthy skin be careful not to burn. I think most people think tans look better, but some actress's are now sporting whiter skin and making it look good. It is a matter of personal preference. Skin cancers do not look good.

I think it all matters on personal taste. When I'm looking at a magazine and see a tasty tanned and muscular surfer then I'm really liking the tan. However my boyfriend isn't overly tanned, he gets tanned in the summer from swimming and the being at the beach but during the winter hes not glowing or anything and I think he looks just fine.

It really depends on the guy!Tans will will give you a healthy sporty look,and if you have light hair you need a tan,But i personally think dark hair and pale skin is sexy:)

I would have to agree with Dav. Skin cancer isn't very attractive. My grandfather had to regularly have pieces of his face cut out and he wasn't even a sun worshiper!
Just a few things to consider...Tan can be quite attractive when you are young but the skin begins to look a lot like leather as you get older.

I think most people look better with tanned Just enough to have a nice healthy glow. White pasty skin is not too flattering.

I like guys who are tanned but not too tanned, I like it to still look natural. It's just better than being perfectly pale.
