Do you think that God created us or did we create God? If it is possible see if the answer can be based on thought with explanations and not on biblical references. If you cannot thats fine.

Yes, I can think of us creating God (or a higher power). No one really knows exactly what God means, even though Christians think they've seen Him in human form.
Since we don't know for sure, people in ancient days probably looked at everything that was happening around them which they didn't understand and assigned its origin to God. They passed stories from generation to generation about the things God had done to/for them. The stories grew with each generation until they had the entire picture of the relationship between God and Israel. When Jesus arrived on the scene, those stories made a major shift from a historical novel, so to speak, to prophesies about who would inherit God's rewards -- not everyone is eligible for those rewards -- only those who "believe" will be rewarded in a future life.

it is highly possible that so many people believed in a creator and the energy they put into that was the very thing that created him
this doesnt mean God is imaginary ... but tests have been done to show that a handful of people can create an energy that appears to be a living entity ...
if a whole planet focused on a God energy ... imagine what they could create
this is not my beliefs however .. just a thought on a smaller experiment i know of

God created us - because if you studied anatomy or studied the complexities of the human eye - brain - hand movement - cellular design - skeletal structure - organ function - the respitory system - the circulatory system... etc... There is far too much about the human body that is just mind bogglingly intricate and intellegent in design - there is no way it all happened by chance. The odds are stacked against that idea - to a great degree. Not to mention humans can form thoughts and have feelings and can increase in intellegence with learning - it's just amazing. Humans are of a Divine and intellegent design. No doubt in my mind - God came first.

I believe that God created us because other than biblical references the world is far to complicated for it not to be created by God. Think of everything we see and take for granted. Evolutionist can't explain half of what they say they can. I have proof of it and if anyone wants it e-mail me @ hawkrisesagain@yahoo.com

We were created by God. I am one of those that are stuck in the middle of science and religion on this.
I do not believe we are a random group of chemicals that happened to come together to create us. Something brought those together.
On the other hand, I struggle greatly with the time frame in the bible and acknowlege the fact that we are made up of certain chemicals.

We cannot even create the leg of an insect. We have a beginning and end. We speculate about an afterlife/ We are confused about the most trite things,i.e. should I do this,that, or the other. We are limitted. We can lose our minds to the point of forgetting who we are. We need slumber and sleep. We lack the qualities of mercy. wisdom, lordship, awareness, helofullness, Love Peace etc. We are still learning Collectively and individually we have not scratched the surface of the knowledge of ourselves. We are frail, inconsistent and feeble-minded. We could be in a coma and not realize it even after waking from it. We are arrogant about our ignorance.

Both is possible. Either god created us. And the bible is real. OR The government created god thousands of years ago to benefit themselves. And then books like the Da Vinci Code is real.

I believe in a creator. Something or Someone put us here. Be it a God , a big bang, aliens, Father sun, Mother Earth, or an accident. we were created. But in our need for understanding and control we created gods. As we evolve god evolves to fit our needs.

I just have a few questions for you, if we created God, how did mankind came about? Through evolution by apes? Fine, where did the apes come from?
