trust me you'd know alright! Have a look through your house for any signs of blood or blood clots....she will more than likely be running a fever...trust me you'd know! it's much like a women when she miscarries the dead fetus has to go somewhere it don't just disappear! dogs, cats and any animal would have to abort the fetus...sometimes mommies dogs will actually eat it for nurishment and try to clean up after themselves so make sure you really have a good look around the house...she could have also passed it with a poop by pushing so also look around your back yard for traces....and last but not least take her to the vet to have an ultra sound done..if you live in canada they run you about 75$.

Miscarried puppies DO just disappear! They are usually reabsorbed by the dam, although sometimes they will be born mummified.

BTW, a mummified puppy left in the dam will become a very serious situation for the dam, it will need to be removed or she will die.

you will eventually notice that she's not getting larger from pregnancy. otherwise, unless she's examined by a vet, you won't know.
