I just got contacts on Saturday. Last night I went to take them out and had success with my left eye but couldn't seem to "find" the one in my right eye. Could it have fallen out? And, if so, would I have felt it? My eye right now is all red because I was messing with it. The eye doctor is not open right now because it's too early, but any suggestions until I do call him?

Hummm this could be for several reasons

1. Yes it is entirely possible that your right contact lense fell out although you probably notice it when you can only see well through one eye.

2. Is your eye at all irritated (other then whole poking to find this one contact)...before you took your contacts out. Like you can't open them. Sometimes my contacts move around and I have to find my contact in my eye (know this sounds wierd but it does happen)

3. Your contact is still there and you somehow keep missing it.

I would recommend eye drops to stop the reddness.

If it fell ot you would have noticed blurring in the eye.

This happens me all the time.
I can always get one out but the other takes ages.

If you have any eyedrops suitable for contacs insert a couple of drops and blink a few times. It is likely that the lens is stuck under your eyelid. the drops should loosen it up a little.

You can also try lightly closin your eye and with your finger , lightly rub the lid in circular movements.

You don't have to worry. Either it dropped out, and you didn't see it (look in that area with your glasses), or it is up around your eye lid, but the eye is a closed system, so at worst it is not floating around your brain somewhere!
