Well, cats normally just play with them, soemtimes they die, and sometimes they don't. There is nothing you can do about this.

Your cat won't kill the mice unless a) he's hungry and b) he learns that mice are food. At the moment he is hunting mice out of instinct, but he has no idea that they have another purpose but play.

Your cat wont eat them, unless he is hungry.
we have cats and they kill birds and just play with them as well, they always bringing lizards and mice into the house.
as long as you are feeding him he wont eat any of the animals that he catches. (",)
also sometimes cats bring in "food" to there owners as "gifts" to show that they have killed.
good luck with your kitty.

I agree with Stein, but you also have to be careful because when my indoor cat gets out and 'brings a mouse home' he always gets worms after that.

I hope you do not have mice indoors. If your cat eats mice he will get sick so be glad.

I like your cat. At least he/she is more humane than you, it seems!
