He's from another country and I asked him the meaning of a word I had heard in his native language. He got a strange look on his face and asked where did I hear that word from? Who told me that word? Now he thinks I'm cheating on him and I'm not!! I heard that word one time and just remembered it without knowing the meaning of it. The word I found out means "stick it to me."

wow, sounds like he is totally over-reacting, you could have heard it anywhere, I know loads of random words in other languages. Are you sure you want to be with a guy who jumps to such ridiculous conclusions? Sounds like he lacks trust and respect for you.

LOL!!! I can see his concern, but he needs to chill out...other languages are a tough thing when your learning by hearing instead of classes. I'm sure you have asked him alot before, and will ask more in the future...and how could you use that word before then, if you didn't know what it meant?...and if you DID know and WERE fooling around, would you be stupid enough to ask him what it meant? He needs to look at these factors and just chill out.

Why are you bothering with him? This guy sounds MAJORLY insecure, and unless you think repairing messed up people is the only value you bring to relationships, you should realise there is better than walking on egg-shells because of one word said. I would ignore his silly toddler temper this once. If it continues or happens again I would sit down and soberly tell him that this will not be tolerated.

Your boyfriend needs to get a life and calm down about this. It's just a word, and it's not even a bad word at that. He sounds insecure to me. You need to just ignore him, and go about your daily routines. He's overreacting and there is no cause for it. Ignore him.

If he is that insecure over 1 word then you don't need to be with him. If he gets so upset over something said in his language that you didnt understand then he has issues.
you need to explain to him that you wanted to know what the word meant and nothing else.

Jus play it cool. Once he realizes that its not that big a deal he'll appreciate you staying calm. But, i encourage you to look elsewhere. He sounds really insecure... dont waste your time with him if he blows it out of the water.

Tell him to calm the hell down. You're not going to tolerate his stupid behavior.
