I have long hair now with the first layer past my chin about a 1 1/2. I want to change it, do you think i should do shorter layers or keep it the same?

An oval face is the ideal face shape. Lucky you. with this type of face you can wear almost any hair style. but if you are looking for a change I would say to go with some shorter layers. It will give you more style a fun look for this fall. your hair will always grow back if it's not what you are looking for. Good luck.

I think that hair that is cut short at the back and sides but left long at the front and thick on top would look the best for your shape of face.

Oval faces generally suit all hair styles (lucky you) but ask your hairdresser for some suggestions. It's pretty hard to say when I can't see what you look like.

Short. Fluff them around your face if you have a narrow and angular face and it will soften it.
