You can't organize clutter. Clutter breeds clutter. Ask yourself "Do I love this item? Does it make me smile? Do I use it? Have I used it in the last year?" If you answer no to any of these questions, then bless someone else with it. You can give it away to a local charity or try www.freecycle.org to see if there is a group in your area.

Good luck to you!

Rent a storage unit at one of the numerous places which advertise all the time. If you leave the stuff there too long it can work out expensive, so seriously think about giving it to a charity shop or selling it on ebay or, if it's suitable, in a local auction. Good luck from a fellow sufferer.

You must just "bite the bullet" and go through everything and keep only what is useful, valuable or has a lot of sentimental value. I am willing to bet,you will keep only half of what you have. If you have the time or patience, sell the rest at a yard sale or if not,box it up and cart it to the Salvation Army. Beware though, stuff you keep stored away has the uncanny knack of reproducing and soon you will find you have more stuff again!! I sold a TON of stuff at a yard sale and 6 months later,my closets were overflowing again!!

put it in boxes, but the best thing to do is throw some stuff away.
my way of doing it is, i put everything in boxes and leave them for a while, if after a while i don't have a clue whats in the box/ havent unpacked it because i havent needed what was inside then i just throw the whole thing out.
if i don't know what it is and have no use for it then chuck it because its obviously c rap

Donate it!
Or pay to keep it in a small storage unit if you really have a lot of stuff.
